Mount Washington Community Scavenger Hunt
During my fall semester of my junior year I volunteered at the annual Mount Washington Community Scavenger Hunt. The main task that volunteers completed was that as participants arrived at the designated locations and answered trivia questions about the location, their "passport" would be stamped. My assigned location was the Mount Washington Cemetery and there were up to four trivia questions that participants could answer. By the conclusion of the scavenger hunt, eighteen of the twenty teams had passed through the cemetery. After the volunteering experience, an after party was hosted by Mount Washington that featured local organizations and eateries which was certainly a nice finish to a volunteering experience.
